BIOSONATOR compact (sewage treatment plants)
The BIOSONATOR compact is a high-performance ultrasonic system for treating sewage sludge.
It was developed as a plug-and-play system to allow for initial test runs at wastewater treatment plants even before a purchase decision is made.
Before municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plant operators decide to use ultrasound for the long-term treatment of their sewage sludge, the technology is typically tested for several months in advance.
To offer operators an even more practical and, above all, optimized solution, PALMINCO has introduced a plug-and-play ultrasonic system solution: the BIOSONATOR compact.
Thanks to the peripherals integrated into the BIOSONATOR compact—which are perfectly matched to the ultrasonic device and consist of a pump, piping, and flow measurement—the technology can now be integrated directly and easily into ongoing plant operations.
The operator does not need to purchase any additional equipment for the test run, thereby saving time and money.
Another significant advantage is that the ultrasonic system, with components 100 percent tailored to it, can be installed by our service technicians in less than a day and demonstrates optimal performance even during the test phase.
Thanks to its division into three interconnected platforms (pump, ultrasonic system, and control cabinet), it can also be easily set up in any room and is very user-friendly.
Ultrasonic disintegration has a wide range of applications at wastewater treatment plants.
Depending on the specific application, thickened excess or return sludge is treated with ultrasound, thereby achieving, for example, an increase in biogas production, a reduction in the volume of residual sludge requiring disposal,
a shortening of the digestion time, or the resolution of operational issues.
The positive effects of ultrasound become apparent within a few weeks when using the BIOSONATOR compact.
Tests at wastewater treatment plants in northern Germany confirm this and show very good results.
